Petite Malibu Wedding at El Matador State Beach

Meet Jillian and Conner. Yet another couple who intended on getting married in 2020. Instead of having a large wedding and risk getting all of their friends and family sick, they pushed the big wedding celebration out a year. However, that doesn’t mean they have to wait a full year to get married! On the bluffs of El Matador State Beach, over looking the ocean, Jillian and Conner made it official that they are going to spend the rest of their lives together!

We’re so proud of so many of our couples, like Jillian and Conner, who are taking this year back and having small weddings instead! We love these intimate, sweet, affairs. Bonus, who doesn’t want to have a Malibu wedding? Jillian’s aunt married them as their families stood around them with tear filled eyes and overwhelming joy expressed with champagne and confetti in the parking lot. Who’s to say these petite weddings can’t be just as magical?

After their ceremony, we made our way down to the beach where we got to enjoy the epic-ness (Is that a word? It is now!) of El Matador. Although it was quite busy for a quarantined Friday, we were able to socially distance while making this wedding session our own and get some beautiful moments documented for these two.

A little meet-cute story for you… Jillian and Conner two met in fourth grade (!!!) and although their love story didn’t start there, they reconnected in college and have been together ever since.

Can you tell that these two really love laughing together? We adore it.

We simply cannot WAIT for these two to have their big celebration Fall 2021. We know their Pasadena wedding will be one for the books!
