The Castle Green is a true hidden oasis nestled in Old Town, Pasadena. Residents of the area sometimes don’t even realize this incredible property exists!

Castle Green opened in 1899 as a lavish resort Hotel and still holds so much of its historic charm. In the 1920’s it was converted into private residences and over the years has been called home to many artists, designers, musicians and collectors. Now it also serves as a filming location as well as special event/wedding venue!

Our history loving hearts find this breathtaking venue gives couples an amazing old world charm feel to their day while not feeling too “dated.” There are so many opportunities for photos both in and outside of the Castle, not to mention other Old Town Pasadena nearby locations mere walking distance away.

Castle Green Wedding Pros:

Historic charm.
A small getting ready suite (it is a bit small, so most opt to dress at CG) and additional separate space to do finishing touches for the groom or other wedding party members.
Gorgeous outside ceremony space (either by the bridge or beneath their gorgeous tree.)
Indoor options for rain or chilly weather.
Can accommodate 200 seated guests indoors.
Bring in your own catering options.
