If you don’t live in Los Angeles, we have this thing called “June gloom” which essentially means it’s cloudy all day long. It’s actually quite nice because it’s usually a break from the heat and as a photographer, it’s often like having a giant soft box over your entire location, potentially giving you better, more even light. However, when you love natural light (aka the sun) to photograph your couples, like we do, it can get a little boring not having that big beautiful ball of golden light in the sky for your sessions. Lucky for us, it was such a breath of fresh air to have a lovely, summery day at the beach for Caitie and Niels’ session. Honestly, we’re really lucky because we had these two, a super fun, in love, up for anything, beautiful couple to photograph, so any weather conditions would have been a blast. We are so excited to be seeing these two again very soon for their Malibu wedding later this summer! Thanks to the gorgeous Point Dume for not disappointing, too.
