These antique shopping, animal rescuing, foodies, Stephanie and Stephanie (yes, they are both named Stephanie!) are officially married!! Having met on OK Cupid 6 years ago, they were determined to find out if dating someone with the same name was awkward or amazing and turns out the latter is 100% true! Who knew? These best friends even proposed at the same time! They both had bought rings as they had a hunch the other was going to propose on their Sardinia, Italy vacation. They were both right and proposed to each other about 30 minutes apart. How sweet is that? Be right back, taking a quick cry break.
It was truly an honor for us to be a part of The Stephanie’s wedding day. When we photograph weddings like these beautiful ladies, we can’t fathom why same sex marriage was oppressed for so long. It’s impossible to imagine being told you can’t marry the one you love, your best friend, your soul mate. Seeing two wonderful people so in love, radiating joy, surrounded by love and support of friends and family, how could that possibly be wrong? We believe every good person deserves a happily ever after. After all, love is love.
